Learn how Sewanee: The University of the South utilizes new software delivery methods, enables BYOD, and pivots priorities to support students through the global pandemic.

Vicki Sells, CIO of The University of the South, will showcase how their IT team implemented AppsAnywhere, amongst other tech innovations to provide equity of access to software titles to their students and staff in response to COVID-19. Vicki will also cover the various changes that were made in the past year, such as social distancing and mask mandates to ensure the safety of their students and faculty as they returned to campus. This will include how AppsAnywhere and software access help to support ongoing pandemic-related safety measures and to mitigate any possible disruption to service.

Vicki will also cover:

  • Their implementation of 'hyflex classrooms'.
  • Assuring student safety on campus (e.g. in PC labs).
  • Supporting a high volume of Mac and non-Windows users.
  • How they implemented AppsAnywhere and focused on student success.
