Accessing any app, anywhere, anytime at Seneca College Canada

See how Canada's Seneca College are using AppsAnywhere, customized to be known as MyApps, to deliver any app to students anywhere, on demand, using next-generation application virtualization technologies.

Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology is one of Canada's leading colleges. Located in Toronto, Ontario, Seneca offers more than 145 full-time programs and 135 part-time programs, across 10 campuses located throughout the city.

Seneca's MyApps

The IT team at Seneca have put together a short animation, to explain to their students how they can access any app, anywhere, using MyApps, the college's custom-branded AppsAnywhere solution.

Jessica and Francisco are Seneca students from two different worlds. Jessica likes tea, Francisco likes coffee. She’s an early bird, he’s a night owl. She’s enrolled in the computer programming and analysis program, he’s in civil engineering technology.

As different as they may be, Jessica and Francisco do have one thing in common. They’ve got homework this weekend that requires software installed on Seneca’s lab computers. No sweat for Jessica, the early bird, but Francisco has other plans on Saturdays.

Lucky for both of them, Seneca MyApps helps them work wherever, and whenever, they want to. Thanks to MyApps, students can stream their Seneca computer lab software on any PC. This means Jessica can develop software with Eclipse from the computing commons early Saturday morning, and Francisco can design bridges from home with Civil 3D, while the city sleeps.

MyApps lets you use Seneca’s library of software at any Seneca Campus, many from home, and we’re adding new titles all the time.

Give Seneca MyApps a try today, or tonight, at myapps.senecacollege.ca
